Description
More than 4 generations of the family Nicolini have been working in this sector, producing different types of wines, starting from those perfect for being used everyday up to those wines belonging to the category doc, like Frascati Superiore and Castelli Romani both white and red, on top of sparkling wines.
In Marino it is possible to visit (only by reservation) the structures dedicated to the working and bottling procedures and the cave with an area of 60 metre. This has been recently restored; in its interior there is a wine cellar with barrels and tools utilized to produce wine built in 1945. Right in this cave it is possible to taste and to buy products, packaged in boxes that can be delivered anywhere in Italy even if in small quantities. It is possible to pay with the most known credit cards and there is a parking area for buses.
It is possible to visit the production centre of the Frascati Superiore also during the period of the vintage and thus seeing the production procedures. From this place there is also a wonderful panorama over Rome and if the weather is particularly favourable over the northern coast.
